First Presbyterian Church – Tyrone

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we will not be having worship services in the church building until Governor Wolf indicates that it is safe to have public gatherings.

If you would like to join us in our Zoom worship please send an email to

Our “Shoe Closet” will be closed Saturday, April 18th.

This decision was made for the safety of our community as we all do what we can to slow the spread of the  COVID-19 virus during this pandemic.

Let us continue to be in prayer for everyone (worldwide) who struggle and suffer with the COVID-19 pandemic, and the disruption it has brought to our lives.

Stay Calm, Stay Home, and Stay Safe

Worship service begins at 10:30 Sunday mornings.

Adult Sunday School (Breakfast and a Movie) starts at 9:15 in our Blue Room.  (Our current topic is: What will heaven be like? — The class is using Randy Alcorn’s book “Heaven”.)

A Children’s Sunday School class [during worship] is available.

You are invited to be a part of our choir.  Practice is at 10:00 Sunday mornings.
